Philip P. Gallen, LL.B
Philip graduated from the Law Faculty of Queen’s University of Belfast in 1979 and qualified as a solicitor the following year. Having worked for five years in a large city centre practice he then opened his own firm on the Lisburn Road in January 1985.
Philip has over 30 years experience in private practice. He specialises in conveyancing both private and commercial, litigation, probate and licensing.
Colette M. Fitzpatrick, LL.B
Colette graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1985 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 1988. Colette has worked for Philip Gallen and Company since 1989 and has since become a partner with the firm.
Colette has a wide and varied practice area and has vast experience in handling all types of claims, buying and selling property and family law including divorce, separation, contact issues and care proceedings relating to children. She is presently on the Children’s Order Panel.
Paul Gallen, Assistant Solicitor
Paul graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2007 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 2010. Paul also holds a Masters degree in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development. In addition to assisting the partners in the practice, Paul manages his own caseload which consists of litigation, conveyancing and appearing in the Belfast Magistrates Court and before the Masters in the High Court.
Paul is renowned for his knowledge of wordgames. Paul appeared in the Channel 4 game show ‘Countdown’ on 15 occasions and was eventually crowned Champion of Champions in 2006. Paul is also the current UK National Scrabble Champion and is ranked as the third best player in the world.
